We recently had a vacation to Orlando, FL. We visited Holy Land, Magic Kingdom, and Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. The girls enjoyed Holy Land the most. Here is Ksena in front of Jesus' tomb.
Joe-Joe wanted no part of Tigger! She didn't like Pooh Bear too well either.
That Sam-I-Am was well received by the Reed family. Even Joey didn't mind him.
No trip to Florida is complete without a day at the beach. This is CoCoa Beach, which was not too far from Orlando.
I know. I have been really bad about keeping this website up-to-date, so I thought I would give it an attempt today. Here are some pictures from our Oct 2009 Hong Kong visit.
The Noah's Ark visit was a dissapointment for me. I guess I was expecting more than a biblical-size accurate ark. I was expecting a strong gospel message to go along with it and that we did not receive. They had some truths presented from the Bible but they also had some things that were not true (old earth) and the message was all over the board, very unclear and sometimes New Age sounding. They even had "earth boy" warning us about how so-called global warming is going to destroy the world and Hong Kong may one day be under water. Yeah, yeah, whatever.
Katy celebrated a birthday party while there. I do love Hong Kong's cakes. They put ours to shame. Lots of fruit on top and within sometimes and the icing is never sickening sweet like our cakes here.
Ksena at Stanley Beach. This is where the Japanese invaded during WWII. I learned that in their coastal defense museum. :-)

Ksena is sizing up dinner.
No. This is not dinner. I actually researched this and eating horse shoe crabs would not be recommended.
Ksena's 1st fish
I was able to take the girls fishing at the "ocean", my dad's small pond. Kasi caught a sun fish and so did Ksena. Ksena also caught another small fish, maybe a crappie I guess. I really don't know my fish. But the funny thing was my dad. We thought he had a prize winner on the hook until out came the big snapping turtle.

Can you imagine not giving babies their basic human rights, no matter how they entered our world? My name is Gianna Jessen, born 31 years ago after a failed abortion. I’m a survivor, as are many others…but if Barack Obama had his way, I wouldn’t be here.
Unfortunately, Barack Obama voted four times against affording these babies their most basic human right. I have serious concerns about Senator Obama’s record and views on this issue, given he voted against these protections four times as a state Senator. Just as abuse victims share their stories to educate the public, fight for the common good and hope that as a result politicians do what’s right, I felt it was important to come forward and give these new born babies a voice.
I am living proof these babies have a right to live, and I invite you to learn more about Senator Obama’s record on this important issue.
